| It’s a great day to be an Emerald Explorer! Here at Emerald, a focus we have as explorers is our Positive Behavior Expectations for students:
N-need to be safe, E-expect respect, S- show responsibility and W- work together
Explicit instructions and expectations are communicated to students for every area of our building. An example is our playground. Emerald staff work with students to teach and reteach behavior expectations to keep students safe and continuously learning in a positive environment both in the classroom and school-wide. At Emerald, we recognize the importance of learning positive behaviors that students can use not only in our school, but as they develop into responsible and respectful adults ready to make a positive contribution to our community!
